Energy Efficiency is Music to His Ears

Lawrence moved to Durango in the mid 1990’s. He’s a well-known musician, piano teacher and performer.  For 30 years he’s been making efficiency improvements to his home. The original home was built in the 1950’s and was completely un-insulated save some crumpled newspapers in the walls. Lawrence had his work cut out for him!

He qualified for a free energy efficiency audit with 4CORE and received professional help deciding what remaining measures were necessary to make his home more comfortable and affordable during our cold Colorado winters. During the audit, a gas leak and a fire hazard were found and repaired. Lawrence was also able to determine which remaining upgrades he should make first and which improvements weren’t necessary, ultimately saving him money long term. Lawrence recommends not putting off repairs to only find you must spend more on utility bills every month.
